Cookies & storage

About this page
This page supplements Kairii's Privacy Policy with information about browser storage, My Shelf and back-in-stock requests. Read it together with our Privacy Policy for the broader information about processing your data and your rights.
Your choices
Use Cookie settings in the footer to review your preferences and withdraw consent for optional personalization, analytics and marketing storage. Rejecting or withdrawing that consent does not cancel a restock alert you requested or delete information already saved to your customer account. These are separate requests; contact contact@kairii.be for help.
Browser storage
Our storefront uses cookies and local storage. Local storage is browser storage, not a session cookie, and does not expire automatically just because you close a tab. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes local preferences and can remove a guest My Shelf collection or unsynced changes. It does not erase the collection saved to your customer account.
Shopify functional storage
Shopify has confirmed that the following two local-storage items support core storefront functions and do not contain personal tracking data. Shopify classifies them as essential and loads them before optional cookie consent. This classification applies to these two items, not to every Shopify service or tracking technology.
shopify:: A flag recording that Shopify's WebMCP storefront scripts have initialized.webmcp_ adapter_ loaded signInWithShop:: A timing value used for cart synchronization and continuity for customers using Shop Pay.cartSyncNextRecognitionAt
According to Shopify, both items remain in the browser until browser cleanup or manual clearing of site data. Closing a tab, declining optional cookies or withdrawing optional consent does not itself remove them. There is no stated fixed automatic expiry.
My Shelf synchronization
My Shelf stores your owned and wanted figure selections in this browser. When signed in, selections are also saved to your Shopify customer account when synchronization succeeds. A Cloudflare Worker processes the account identifier and collection data for this synchronization. Guest collections and each signed-in account use separate local caches. Where available, My Shelf can use products from your Shopify order history to mark figures purchased from Kairii.
Removal and collection resets
Removing a visible owned or wanted mark updates the collection; it is not a request to erase all associated data. Contact contact@kairii.be to request a collection reset or wider account-data deletion. A collection reset keeps a minimal reset marker to stop old devices from restoring earlier selections. An offline device can retain its old local copy until it reconnects. After a collection reset, automatic import from order history is disabled for that collection; you can add figures manually. Resetting My Shelf does not delete Shopify orders or the customer account.
Shared collection links
A My Shelf sharing link contains a snapshot of the owned and wanted selections you share. Anyone with that link can view the snapshot and forward the link. Later changes or a collection reset do not update or revoke copies of an earlier link. Share it only if you are comfortable making those selections visible to its recipients.
Retention and deletion requests
My Shelf is not automatically erased when you sign out or close a tab. Removing a selection can leave synchronization records that prevent older devices restoring it. Browser copies and account copies must be considered separately; no fixed automatic deletion period is promised here. For access, a reset or deletion, contact contact@kairii.be. We will assess the request and coordinate any necessary action with the relevant provider; a collection reset is not deletion of all account, order, log or backup data.
Shopify services
Our shop uses Shopify Network Intelligence. Shopify describes this as using customer data from our store together with data from other merchants to provide enhanced services, including personalization, store improvements and advertising features. Shopify states that it respects customers' consent and data-sharing choices for these uses. Its Privacy Policy explains this processing in more detail. You can manage optional storage choices through Cookie settings in our footer.
Back-in-stock requests
When you request a back-in-stock email, STOQ processes the email address you provide and the product or variant you selected to handle that request. Requesting a restock alert is separate from joining our marketing mailing list. STOQ is provided by Artos Software Inc.; its privacy policy explains its processing. You can contact contact@kairii.be to withdraw your request or ask for deletion.
Sending an alert does not automatically erase the request or notification history. STOQ states that personal data is generally retained while the store remains connected, with earlier deletion requests possible. Contact contact@kairii.be to withdraw a request or request deletion; do not delete your Shopify account simply to cancel a stock alert.
STOQ browser storage
STOQ uses three preorder configuration caches: restockrocket_, restockrocket_ and restockrocket_. STOQ confirms that these hold shop configuration rather than customer or visitor data, are written before optional consent when an enabled preorder offer exists, and can also be written when that offer contains no products. They refresh after five minutes but are not automatically deleted; they remain until browser data is cleared. Refreshing is not deletion. This description does not classify these caches as consent-exempt.
The separate _ item follows consent in our checks; STOQ says it is removed when consent is withdrawn. Its precise consent category and maximum retention while consent remains granted have not yet been confirmed to us. STOQ separately describes its web pixel as analytics, gated by analytics consent where required.
